Its a blessing to be shooting in Paris again and what beautiful weather we had. Here are some of my favourites from this shoot. Can’t wait for the next shoot in Europe. It’ll be Rome in December with room for either Paris or other cities in Italy. Due to the peak travel season, we will be closing the December (Europe) openings by 9 October.
This shot of Angis and TG got me into stitches… plus its a welcomed break for me : )

Hi everyone, we are happy to annouce that we have trips planned to New Zealand, Paris and Italy (Rome, Venice, Verona) later half this year! : )
We will be travelling to New Zealand’s South Island ( Aug 3-12), revisiting romantic Paris (Dec 8-13) and beautiful Italy in (Dec 15-23). Yes! Its winter in these countries. Its not common to have pre-wedding shoots done in winter but we are eager to bring back something different.

June is Europe. The trip to Paris last year was done between two weddings. There was not much time to ’smell the flowers’ or to leisurely enjoy a coffee in the quaint streets of Montmartre. Have planned more time for this trip to do just that. The romance will continue to Prague and around Central Europe.
The second slot for Paris has been taken up and there’s only room for one couple left. Airfares are down and it can’t be a better time to go. Fret not if June or Paris is not good for you.. the medieval beauty of Central Europe may lure me for a return trip. : )

I am now in Milan, having passed through Florence and Tuscany. Tuscany is beautiful, any couples like to have their pre-wedding photos taken here? As i was driving through the hills, i could imagine that happening. Its really beautiful. The little towns with their quaint corners and medevial alleys.. ah..

It poured in Rome. It rained in Pisa and showered in Florence. Its cold. The weather offered something extra, not the usual blue-skies postcard shots. Will share more images in time. Will be going up next to Milan then Venice in another week. Time for some gelato and pictures of the statue of David!

Hi everyone, I have a blog now!
Hopefully, through this journal, I can share with you more of my experiences, thoughts and works.
I’m proud to announce a new addition to John Lim Photography. Regina Lim! She’s now doing photography full-time after a few years of struggle.. Regina left her healthcare job to fully pursue her passion in wedding photography. Finally, another one has joined the ‘dark side’. haha..
You may be able to view her works on my website as well. Btw, she happens to be a bride that i’ve shot before. Coincidentally, you can find her in my AD portfolio. Spot Regina and get a discount ) (you wish)
I will be leaving for Italy early this Sunday for a break with my fiancee. Looking forward to unwind and hope to bring back new perspectives, of my photography.
sidenote: while i am away, regina will be around to attend to you. To my couples, your albums are not neglected. Apologies and your patience is much appreciated. =)
now, it’s time to finish up some work before a mad dash to the airport and ….. italy! watch this space for updates from Italy, and i look forward to sharing pictures soon.
