Finally, the last installment of “The Journey South” : ) What great fun we had, the crazy drives and the glorious night sky. New Zealand is one of the few places left on Earth where it is still possible to see an entire starlit night sky that’s not drowned out by light pollution or affected by factory smoke.

Here is one of my all time favourites. How often do you see the night sky so full of stars in such clarity?
